A large population of children in America is suffering from obesity and overweight. It is because American children consume lot of fried and junk food. The statistics are alarming. Figures show that more than 25% white and approximately 33% of African-American children are overweight.

In addition to this problem, hospital expenses related to child obesity have gone up and crossed the mark of $127 million. The statistics clearly indicate that obesity is an important issue. The issue requires abrupt attention. The number is constantly growing and the child facing it is in grave danger. A high number of youth today is obese and living an unhealthy life.
